History

Dream Livingstone Zambia is a grassroots charity that began with the mission to support communities living in poverty and children affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Zambia. Many of these children come from underprivileged backgrounds.

Since its creation, DLZ has brought together teachers and volunteers from around the world to empower children and young adults in need. We have built classrooms, initiated women’s empowerment projects, and created sustainable incomes for local families. Who We Are / What We Do

Dream Livingstone Zambia (DLZ) is a registered NGO, founded in 2009, with the mission to educate and empower children in Zambia. Our programs focus on childcare, teaching, elderly care, and medical assistance to support the most vulnerable communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower local communities by making education and capacity-building training accessible to vulnerable children and families, ultimately working towards poverty reduction and a better future for all.

Where You Come In

DLZ welcomes volunteers from around the world for as little as one week or up to three months.
